Tutus & Tumbles

A class designed for ages 1.5 – 2.5 that are not quite ready for structured dance class but are ready for basic tumbling and creative movement. This class does not require dance shoes…just little bare feet and a leotard. This is a “Buddy and Me” class – and Buddy is required to participate. This is a 6 week session for the summer.

Tiny Sparks Combination Class Ages 2.5 – 3.5

The Tiny Sparks class is one of our newest classes for the beginner dancer. This is a class for dancers ages 2.5-3.5. They will do a combination of ballet, tap, and tumble. Dancers may wear any type of dance attire and will need pink leather ballet shoes, and black patent leather tap shoes. This class will perform in our annual Christmas show and the end of the year Recital.

Glitter Babies Combination Class Ages 3 – 4

Ballet, Tap, Tumble -This one hour class includes all three with the tumbling consisting of activities and skill that pertain to dance or cheer such as flexibility, strength and extension. We do not use gymnastic equipment other than floor mats or shaped mats.

Glitter Stars Combination Class Ages 5-6

Ballet, Tap, Tumble -This one hour class includes all three with the tumbling consisting of activities and skill that pertain to dance or cheer such as flexibility, strength and extension. We do not use gymnastic equipment other than floor mats or shaped mats.

Shining Stars Combination Class Ages 7-8

Ballet , Tap, Jazz -This 90 minute class is designed to warm-up, stretch, and begin three 30 minute technique sessions. Strength, and flexiblitiy, ballet technique and barre, jazz technique and tap technique are taught each week. Choreography for recital does not begin until about February. Combinations may be used to teach technical skills.

Rising Stars Combination Class Ages 9-11

Rising Stars Combination Class – Ballet , Tap, Jazz -This 90 minute class is designed to warm-up, stretch, and begin three 30 minute technique sessions. Strength, and flexiblitiy, ballet technique and barre, jazz technique and tap technique are taught each week. Choreography for recital does not begin until around February. Radiant Stars Lyrical/Jazz Combination Class Ages 12+

Radiant Stars offers dancers ages 12 and up the freedom to design their perfect dance experience! Dancers can choose their favorite styles to create a personalized schedule that fits their interests and goals. Our experienced instructors will guide dancers through advanced training in their chosen styles, emphasizing strength, flexibility, and precise execution.

Acro/Tumbling

These classes are instructed using our Acrobatic Arts certified guidelines. The classes are fully structured with a focus on technique, strength, flexibility, balance, and tumbling.

Front Walkovers are required to register for Intermediate/Advanced classes.

Cheernastics Ages 6+

Cheer, Dance & Pom Combination Class.

Hip Hop/Jazz Funk / Hippity Hop

Hippity Hop: A class for all the little Dudes and Divas who want to start Hip Hop!! Age appropriate moves and music for our younger dancers that want to ROCK THE HOUSE! Fun and energetic and scheduled before and after combo classes.

Hip Hop: Age appropriate Hip Hop technique and FUN! Learn the latest dance moves!

Just Tap



Just Tap – especially for those that want to further or begin their “hoofin” skills. This class will include technique, combinations and routines taught in a fun atmosphere with contemporary and classic tap tunes!

A class designed for ages 18 mo. – 30 mo. that are not quite ready for structured dance class but are ready for basic tumbling and creative movement. This class does not require dance shoes…just little bare feet and a leotard or comfortable clothing. One parent may participate with the child. This is a year around class and is not involved in recital. Payment is by the class and due only when class is attended. There is no registration fee for this class.

Just Jazz and Lyrical Combination Class (Ages 9-11)



Jazz and Lyrical Technique for Beg. to Intermediate dancers. focus is on jazz and lyrical technique with age appropriate music and style. Ballet Barre warm-up.

Dance Team Fundamentals



A class especially designed for those dancers currently on or hoping to join a middle school, high school or college dance team. Preparation for auditions and tryouts will be taught.

A class designed for ages 18 mo. – 30 mo. that are not quite ready for structured dance class but are ready for basic tumbling and creative movement. This class does not require dance shoes…just little bare feet and a leotard or comfortable clothing. One parent may participate with the child. This is a year around class and is not involved in recital. Payment is by the class and due only when class is attended. There is no registration fee for this class.

The Academy

The Academy Program at Extravadance & Tumble will focus on allowing dancers to move through a leveled class structure working on personal goals and achievement. It will also provide the opportunity for dancers to train in one particular style of dance. Classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical and Acro will be offered on an Academy level. All Acro classes are in the Academy program and are listed in the Acro class listings. All Academy classes are available to recreational and competitive students.
