Cassandra Allayne-Louise Pappy hails from Charlotte, NC, and has been dancing since the age of three. The majority of her dance training occurred at Dance Productions Studio of the Performing Arts where she received training in the disciplines of tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, lyrical, and pointe.
She has studied with choreographers such as Mike Minery, Ed Phelan, Allen Cooper, Tabitha & Napoleon, and Martha Nichols. She has won numerous dance awards including Top Advanced Soloist at the Star Systems Las Vegas National Competition – 2007, Miss Dance of NC for Carolina Dance Masters, and 3rd Runner up for Miss Dance of America in New York City – 2007. She has also volunteered in her community by performing in benefit dance programs for the Allegro Foundation and the Dove House.
Cassandra has been teaching dance since her junior year in high school. After graduating with honors from high school in 2008, Cassandra was accepted into the dance program at the University of NC at Greensboro. She is a dance education major as well as a 3rd year member of the Spartan G’s dance team at UNCG. For the 2nd year in a row, she serves as a Spartan G’s co-captain. Cassandra loves working with children and motivating them through her love of dance.
